The eclectic and diverse members of The Black Rose Band come from all kinds of backgrounds and influences. This gives us a deep pool of experience and talent to draw from. We are true professionals who are craftsmen of their own instrument. The philosophy we have is to make great country music with an edge that showcases the band's great talents. We feature great vocals, a fantastic rhythm section, and a quality dynamic show. Our influences are everything from George Strait to Cross Canadian Ragweed, AC/DC to HAG. We play the latest top 40 hits and the classics everyone loves. We are focused on performing and putting on fantastic memorable shows.

Mitch Carter and Cody Cozz attended CSU Pueblo together and met while playing football. Both played music and started playing together. They both play country covers as well as original material. Sometimes they play together and sometimes solo. They both love and respect the military and are thrilled to be part of Boot Barn Hall's Vet Fest.
