Faculty Artists Concert: Song and Dance

Presented by Colorado College Music Department at Colorado College: Packard Hall

This event is open to the general public.

CC Music faculty artists return to the Packard stage to open the new season of Live from Packard Hall Faculty Artists concerts. This program features two vocal works by Samuel Barber; selections from Hermit Songs, Op. 29 performed by Jennifer DeDominici and Three Songs, Op. 45, sung by newcomer Jonathan Hays. Paul Nagem, flute, and Daryll Stevens, clarinet, present the Suite for Flute and Bb Clarinet by Robert Russell Bennett and are joined by Susan Grace, piano for Barn Dances by Libby Larson. The program closes with the Trio for Piano, Oboe, and Horn, Op. 188 by Carl Reinecke, performed by Susan Grace, piano, Monica Ding, oboe, and Sarah Ford, horn.

The concert is free and open to the public; all members of the public age 12 or older attending a Colorado College-sponsored, indoor public event will be required to present proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test result, along with a valid photo ID. See more information here.
