Presented by UCCS Visual and Performing Arts: Music Program at Ent Center for the Arts

Jenna Hinkle is a senior in the Bachelor of Innovation program as a Music Performance major with a cross-core discipline in Business Administration at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She began playing the cello at the age of 10. She was an active member of her high school orchestra, acting as the principal and section leader of the cello section as well as concert master for two years.

She was also a member of her high school’s chamber orchestra and participated in the Colorado All-State Orchestra in 2017. Jenna studies under Leah Hansen, with previous instruction from Jane Chan, Paul Rule, Christie Possehl, and Sylvia Hale. She has performed with Theatreworks and the UCCS Honors Ensemble.

Her most recent performances include UCCS’s Lysistrata, BCC’s Romancing the Strings, Professor Jon Forshee’s TeleQuartet, other UCCS student recitals, and several other performances with UCCS’s Honors Ensemble and String Quartet. She hopes to carry her love of music into her future career as an Arts Administrator.
