Ange Marie Dwyer is a mixed media artist, writer and teacher based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Drawing on her life experiences as a woman and Army veteran, Ange Marie employs texture, soft colors and emotive tableaux in a modern impressionistic manner.
Using a variety of mediums including paint, collage, pencil, pastels, digital and wax she brings a unique perspective to the idea of painted canvases.
Ange Marie Dwyer studied art before opening a small teaching and art studio. Her line illustrations have been featured in six books published in 2017-2019. Ange Marie works with a variety of nonprofit, military and veteran organizations, traveling throughout the United States teaching her perspective of art as a healing tool, including T.A.P.S. (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors), Snowball Express, Operation Home Front Cares and Wounded Warrior Project.
She is currently finishing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. Works are held in private collections in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Italy. Her last public exhibition “Caring for Heroes” was shown in 2019 thru Veteran’s Art Council, Denver, Colorado.
