Women of the World Show

Presented by Boss Babe Networking at Epiphany

In honor of International Women's Day on Tuesday, March 8th, we are hosting a multi-cultural performance to bring our community together and appreciate the vast cultural landscape in our city.

The "Women of the World" production weaves together some of the most beautiful cultures from around the globe in a show-stopping and electrifying performance.

The Women of the World event is a multicultural experience for all people to enjoy. The plush venue space at Epiphany in Downtown Colorado Springs accommodates guests and gives us the opportunity to expand our communities cultural awareness to Native American, East Indian, Pacific Islander, Latinx, and many others.

Cultural Performances:

Odissi East Indian Classical Dance is one of eight styles of Classical Dance from India. Odissi is a dance that tells the stories of the Gods and Goddesses of Hinduism.

Native American Song and Chant: A pow wow is a sacred social gathering held by many North American indigenous communities. A modern pow wow is a specific type of event for Native American people to meet and dance, sing, socialize, and honor their cultures.

Ballet Folklorico De Barajas: Folkloric dance expresses the life and spirit of a people through its movement and music. It is both historical and current, preserving tradition yet shifting with the current times.

Hula is the storytelling dance of the Hawaiian Islands. As with all of Hawaiian culture, when you are fortunate enough to learn more about it, much deeper, more powerful and empowering truths may be revealed.

Sanggar Manik Galih: Balinese dance is an ancient dance tradition that is part of the religious and artistic expression among the Balinese people of Bali island, Indonesia. Balinese dance is dynamic, angular and intensely expressive. Balinese dancers express the stories of dance-drama through the bodily gestures including gestures of fingers, hands, head and eyes.

Millennium All-Stars is a cheer and dance team located in Colorado Springs. We'll be bringing together a fusion of hip hop dance and cheer to the stage for the Women of the World event.
