In the romantic spirit of Valentine’s Day, Springs Ensemble Theatre (SET) and Counterweight Theatre Lab are teaming up to present a pair of plays exploring love.

Lovesong by Robert R. Lehan and A Collection of Things We Forgot to Say by Maggie Goscinski come together for a double bill running at SET from February 10 - 27.

Lovesong, directed by SET’s Daniel Robbins and starring Josanna Adamson-Cauler and Jamie Foster, is a dark comedy in which two elderly people attempt to recall whether or not they have been married for 43 years. The play shows how undependable memory is and how identical experience does not guarantee identical perception.

A Collection of Things We Forgot to Say is directed by Counterweight’s Ethan Everhart and features four pairs of people at different points in their relationships. It explores the unspoken desires, tensions, and memories between them and features the acting talents of Rain Gray, Jacob Hacker, Allyson Hackworth, Lainey Martin,  Sabrina Mendoza, Lisa Siebert, Amber Singleton-Carlton, and Andrew Ziegler.

Note on COVID-19 Precautions: Audience capacity has been reduced to 25 for safety. All audience members must be vaccinated or have had a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours prior to the performance. Masks are required while inside SET. Concessions will not be available. All actors have been vaccinated against COVID-19, take weekly tests for SARS-CoV-2, and will not wear masks while performing.
