Artist Statement:
My name is Madison Nein, I am a Colorado Springs native. I am pretty sure I was born with a sketch book and pencil in my hand. I feel I specialize in colored pencil, gauche, and pens. Specifically, women are my favorite to illustrate because of their elegance and beauty. I feel that Feminine figures and all the colors they come in are valuable to portray through my art.
I am currently studying Graphic design at Pikes Peak Community College. Although I am studying the digital side of art, fine arts is still something I practice everyday. I have painted multiple murals in Palmer High School and all around the springs. Being able to have my art around a city I have grown up in and come to love so much has been such a blessing for me as an artist. With opportunities that I could’ve only imaged for myself as a young artist have now to turned to something I have achieved and ones that I will always be grateful for.
Although I am beginning my career I have many more plans and goals that I am aiming to achieve. I plan to keep making my handmade art in the future as well as create my own prints and stickers. I am extremely honored to have art as an outlet for me in my everyday life. I am also very thankful to have had a family that never questioned me pursuing my life long dream of being an artist.
