Jazz Arts Story Time

Presented by Lil' Miss Story Hour at Hooked on Books Downtown

On Saturday, April 16, 2022, Lil' Miss Story Hour will host a special Jazz themed story time with Hooked on Books in honor of National Poetry and Jazz Month. We will highlight and elevate jazz music and musicians through stories and musical explorations.

Highlighting the illustrations of mid-century modern collage-style illustrator, Christian Robinson, our book selections will include, A Story of Nina Simone, by Traci N. Todd; and Harlems Little Blackbird, by Renee Watson.

There will be a collaborative art and poetry activity and also a raffle drawing!
