California-based bluegrass band AJ Lee and Blue Summit will perform along with special guests Don Rigsby, Tim Crouch and Keith Reed!
Opening for the group will be The CC Rocky Mountain Tops student bluegrass ensemble.
AJ Lee and Blue Summit formed in 2015, led by singer, songwriter and mandolinist AJ Lee. The band released its debut album, Like I Used To, in 2019, and its second, I’ll Come Back, in 2021. Their appearance in Colorado Springs is part of their Spring 2022 tour that kicked off at the end of March and continues through much of the Western U.S. along with a few gigs in the upper East Coast.
Joining the band for this performance at CC are guests Don Rigsby, Tim Crouch and Keith Reed. Mandolinist Rigsby is well known for his solo career and his work with Lonesome River Band and Longview. Arkansas-native Crouch is a renowned fiddler who has played in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. Reed, who is the bluegrass instructor at Colorado College, is a seasoned artist who has toured and recorded professionally throughout his musical career.
