Outdoors, making art — what could be better than that? We will walk to an outdoor location close by on Colorado College’s campus to explore a variety of possible approaches to different subject matters. Composition, options on methods to develop the drawing, and use of the pastel chalk will be presented. Our sessions (Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon) will give us different daylight for at least three drawings.

Level I – This class is for those with some familiarity with the medium. This could include informal use of medium outside of the classroom.
