'A Moveable Feast' will showcase the synthesis of art and nature. You will encounter dancers in multiple locations as we tour the bucolic grounds of the Smokebrush Farm — demonstrating the potential for a relationship with the earth that combines farming, gardening, and art.

Through movement, and by the mobilizing the audience, Smokebrush's farmers will take guests on a tour through the farm grounds, showing and sharing the way Smokebrush Farm has cultivated the Rockledge Lodge's historic grounds and its plants and animals. The dancers will invoke this cultivation as a sort of echo, embodying the animals, trees, and cycles of the seasons through movement. Groups will be led around the property throughout the evening, beginning at the goat enclosure, past the pigs and chickens, down the stair steps of the Onaledge Lodge, and ending back on the Rockledge patio.

Live music and farm-to-table tapas will be served on the back patio of the Rockledge Lodge to greet the returning groups.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes!

Parking is limited at the Rockledge Lodge, so we ask that guests carpool if possible or park at Red Crags Arts & Agriculture House or Schryver Parking lot and make a short walk up the hill.
