The Colorado College Summer Music Festival presents five Faculty Artists Concerts this summer.
The Colorado College Summer Music Festival is an annual event held on the CC campus, connecting pre-professional musicians with preeminent performance faculty. The Festival will present more than 20 events during its 38th season, scheduled for June 5-24.
Faculty Artists Concerts feature performances by the Festival’s faculty artists, who come from across the U.S. each year to teach aspiring fellows. Five Faculty Artists Concerts are held each summer; this year’s concerts will be held in Packard Hall at 7:30 p.m. on June 9, 16, 20 and 23, and at 2:30 p.m. on June 12.
Pre-concert lectures presented by CC Prof. Michael Grace begin at 6:15 p.m. in Packard Room 9 prior to the June 9 and 20 performances.
Prior to each of the June 16 and 23 Festival Artists Concerts is a free Pre-Concert Recital starting at 6:15 p.m. in Packard Hall.
Tickets to each Festival Artists Concert costs $35 for the general public and $5 for children and non-CC students, or attendees can buy a season ticket subscription to all five Faculty Artists Concerts for only $160.
A season ticket subscription that includes all five Faculty Artists Concerts plus the two Festival Orchestra Concerts costs just $200. First-time ticket subscribers can get the full season ticket subscription for only $150.
