Dogs and beer! Pawtoberfest is one of Colorado's ONLY dog-friendly festivals, featuring craft brew and spirit tastings with over 30 beverage partners, a 2-mile dog walk, pet-friendly vendors, music, pet contests, activities for the whole family, and plenty of scrumptious food from local food trucks!
Pawtoberfest brings animal lovers and dogs together for an important purpose - to help Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region care for thousands of lost, abandoned, abused, and unwanted pets, giving them a second chance.
Our Dog Walk will take place at Bear Creek Regional Park - EAST and will begin at 9 a.m. Participants may walk the 2 mile Dog Walk at their leisure between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Important parking information:
All parking is at Norris Penrose Event Center's overflow parking lot, 1106 W. Moreno Ave, Colorado Springs, 80905. Dog-friendly shuttle buses will run throughout the day from the overflow parking lot to Bear Creek Regional Park East. The Festival area is a short 8-minute walk from the shuttle drop-off. Click on Event Info for more information. Disability parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the festival at Bear Creek Park-West, see a security guard for entry. A shuttle car is available for those with mobility issues or who are unable to ride on a bus, see parking lot attendant.
