Class Description
Even the most seasoned gardeners and farmers face challenges with their crops. This class will give you a boost of resilience to overcome such challenges. Gain knowledge in caring for garden plants between harvests to boost yield and support overall health, leave feeling confident in knowing when and how to harvest, and learn how to identify and combat common pests and pathogens.
Instructor
Tayler is a Certified Colorado Gardener, born and raised between Tava’s foothills in Colorado Springs, and the Great Plains of Calhan. She earned her Bachelors in Environment and Sustainability at Western Colorado University where she earned grant funding for a passive solar greenhouse and classroom for WCU’s Center for Cold Climate Food Security and championed a framework to combat food insecurity. Since graduating in 2020, Tayler spent a season working alongside a family of regenerative farmers at New Roots in Cañon City.
