Come out and join us for a full day of activities to celebrate outdoor recreation, beginning with the final stage of the highest profile mountain bike event on The Front Range – The Pikes Peak APEX!
The Festival begins at 8 AM when athletes leave the start line located beneath the bridge of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum. MTB riders and Ultra runners head off to Cheyenne Canyon followed by 10K and 5K runners. The fun continues with a full day of activities for competitors and non-competitors alike:
Food Trucks - beginning with breakfast enjoy Colorado Spring’s favorites all day
10AM- 6PM Outdoor Expo featuring outdoor organizations and recreation brands
11AM-6PM Fat Tire Beer Garden, courtesy of New Belgium Brewing, proceeds benefit PPORA
2PM-6PM Live Music with concerts by Dirty Kings and WireWood Station
Bike Rides & Activities including Pedal Our Past bike ride along the historic Legacy Loop in downtown Colorado Springs, highlighting interesting people, stories, places and scenic views and bike to work day awards.
