Hike with a Colorado Master Gardener

North Cheyenne Cañon is home to an abundant and diverse native plant population. Learn what native plants are growing in the Cañon and how you can incorporate them into your landscape for your enjoyment and that of wildlife.

Colorado Master Gardener, Allisa Linfield, volunteers in North Cheyenne Cañon Park through her role on the board of Friends of Cheyenne Cañon. Allisa is a graduate student at CSU studying horticulture with a research focus on native plants and is a Native Plant Master Apprentice.

This hike will begin at Starsmore Visitor and Nature Center Veranda on Wednesday, July 20 at 9 a.m. The 2.5 mile hike will have some elevation change along the lower Columbine Trail. Please wear appropriate footwear and make sure to bring water. Please RSVP for this event, as space is limited.
