Auditions for First Company's fall production of 'Wait Until Dark,' a play by Frederick Knott, will be held on Tuesday, August 23 and Wednesday, August 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. at First United Methodist Church (located at 420 N. Nevada Ave) inside the Theatre. Actors should prepare a memorized one to two-minute monologue, and be ready for cold readings from the play. Please be ready to stay for the duration of the auditions but also note that actors will be released as needed and contacted at a later time.

Callbacks will be held on Thursday, August 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the same location.

Please bring to auditions your list of conflicts and availability between September 6-November 6. Rehearsals will begin on September 6 and be held Mondays-Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday night rehearsals will be added beginning October 6, and will go from 6 to 9 p.m. Tech week will begin on Sunday, October 23.

Play synopsis:

A woman, blind from an accident recently past, meets people who come and go from her apartment, all with the intention of helping her and keeping her safe...or so it seems. A criminal genius plots to find a diamond-stuffed doll and will go to any length to take back what was lost. Who can Susan trust?
