'Patching the Circus'

'Patching the Circus'

Presented by Poetry Heals and Dragon Theatre Productions at Seven Minute Springs Gazebo

The year is 1922. The 1918 pandemic has subsided, the first World War is over, theaters are reopening, and the Dragon Theatre Circus finds they no longer have a theatre, or props, or any of their old supplies to make the show go on. So they decide to share a little bit of the magic they have left to reinvent their new reality with the audience: imagination.

The show will be a mix of talents and pantomime performances as the vaudeville circus troop learns to use what they have and a lot of imagination to tell a fun story.

There is no registration or cost. First come, first seated. Mobility accessible. The play will start at 10:00 and the event will run until noon. Poetry Writing activity by Poetry Heals, clay activities by Wong Wares, and art activities by K8 Orr to follow the performance.

This event is funded by the Manitou Springs Community Foundation and the Creative Alliance Manitou Springs.
