Kreuser Gallery is proud to present ‘Reimagined,’ a collection of new works by Phil Vallejo.
Artist Statement:
My experience as an aspiring Artist truly has been a Random Possibility for 40 years of working at other professions, but never giving up my goal of being an Artist. Finally working with materials collected over the years of working as a professional Arborist, I am now working at my final profession. Still learning and having fun.
Phil Vallejo, a Colorado Springs native born 1959, is a painter, sculptor & mural Artist who was an early participant in the Pueblo Levee Mural Project. A student of Floyd Tunson, Bill Burgess and Nick Latka, he graduated from Palmer High & studied Fine Arts for 2 years at CSU Pueblo where his outdoor sculpture “3 Fold Education” is on permanent exhibit.
Phil’s emotionally charged abstract paintings & sculptures have been exhibited at the Pirate & Core Galleries in Denver as well as the Bridge, Cottonwood, Modbo, G44 and Kreuser Galleries in Colorado Springs. He has numerous works in private collections throughout the United States and Mexico.
