Neighborhood Art Project

Neighborhood Art Project

Presented by CONO at Location determined by stipend winner

Council of Neighbors and Organizations (CONO) partners with the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region (COPPeR) to organize a program for neighbors to submit ideas for art projects in their neighborhood. The project will be awarded in September during National Neighbors Day on Sept. 28 and must be completed in October as a part of Arts Month.

Neighborhoods will submit their idea via application with details on their proposed project. The project should be art focused and should be an opportunity inclusive of all interested neighbors to help build community. The project budget needs as well as participant capacity, must be included in the application. The award for the project will be a stipend to help the neighborhood with the supplies, permits, etc. to complete the project.

Examples of similar neighborhood art projects: Organization of Westside Neighbors Basketball Court Painting, Ivywild Improvement Society Mural, City of Colorado Springs Storm Drain Projects, Community Quilts, and More!
