Miners Pumpkin Patch

Miners Pumpkin Patch

Presented by Western Museum of Mining & Industry at Western Museum of Mining and Industry

The Miners Pumpkin Patch takes place at the WMMI campus and features 3 areas. The Pumpkin Patch Games area includes a kids hay maze, hay slide and corn bins. We'll have life-size Jenga, Battleship, tether ball, sack races, lots of corn hole, ladder ball, and other games. There'll also be an awesome pumpkin catapult, a pumpkin smashing area, and of course, the pumpkin "Patch" with locally sourced Pumpkins and Gourds.

The second area is our Colorado History Area. Try your hand at Gold Panning, Tractor Pulled Hayrides, visit our working Blacksmith Shop and vintage Apple Cider Press. Plus, see our incredible machines in operation--including a 1920 Osgood Steam Shovel (think Mike Mulligan! or the Panama Canal, either way, it is very cool).

Finally, we have our Food & Market Corral area. Food Trucks, and a Farmers Market along with music, face painting and a beautiful view of the front range, the 27 acre WMMI campus and our authentic Reynolds Ranch Hay Barn.

Make fall memories while you help preserve Colorado History. Thanks for thinking of us for your Pumpkin Patch adventure this autumn.
