Jazz fans and musicians alike enjoy the variety, excitement, and spontaneity of a live jazz jam session.

Open to all jazz musicians – prepare a jazz standard or two of your choice and come down to the Armadillo Ranch to sit in with Jason Crowe and an amazing rhythm section. (This is NOT an open-mic, please come prepared).

Bassist and composer Jason Crowe has had the good fortune to perform or record with a variety of artists including Marvin Stamn, Ernie Watts, Randy Brecker, The New York Voices, Micheal Abene, Crystal Gayle, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Faith Hill, Wynona Judd, Celine Dion, and CeCe Winans.

Jason has performed at the Monterrey Jazz Festival, The Clearwater Jazz Festival, The Montreux Jazz Festival, The Cork Jazz Festival in Ireland, The North Sea Jazz Festival, The Vail Jazz Festival, The Telluride Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry.

As a former member of the USAF Academy Band in Colorado Springs, Colorado Jason has recorded extensively with and is a former group leader of the Falconaires 18-piece jazz big band including projects featuring the music of Sammy Nestico, the Grammy recognized recording, Sharing the Freedom and the most recent recording by the band, The Long Blue Line. He has also been a member and group leader for the Air Force Academy Band Country/Pop Band, Wild Blue Country.
