Pikes Peak State College Military and Veterans Photo Display:

During the period of November 7 to 11, there will be a photo display shown on all Pikes Peak State College campuses. The purpose of this photo display is to honor the veterans of our community.  This will include students, staff, faculty, families, local community members and local organizations. Help us honor the military and veterans in your life! Submit a picture of yourself or a military member or veteran that you would like to honor in our display. Note that photos can be from any time period – as long as the picture can be digital, we can display it.  Photos are DUE by 10/23/22. Pikes Peak State College’s Military Arts Journal – “SITREP”

PPSC’s SITREP, our military arts journal, is in its 3rd year and is now accepting submissions for our 3rd edition which will be published electronically this November. We accept poetry, short stories, non-fiction, photos, letters, and other creative work. If you are a veteran or a member of a military family, please submit your material, or encourage your family members to do so. Pikes Peak State College Veterans Art Exhibition:

Pikes Peak State College will host an exhibition of original artwork by regional veterans at the PPSC Gallery at Studio West in downtown Colorado Springs. The exhibition will be open from October 31-November 25, with a reception on Friday, November 4, from 5-8pm. The gallery is located at 22. North Sierra Madre Street, next to the PPSC downtown campus. Local/regional veteran artists who are interested in participating should reach out to interim gallery director Benjy Davies. Benjy.davies@pikespeak.edu or call 719-368-1271
