With pollinator populations in decline, we’re inspired to a plant pollinator habitat.
This class will look at three small pollinator patches with a variety of microclimates and other attributes. We'll start with a brief overview of general garden design, review pollinator specific needs and considerations, and try our hand at planning a small pollinator patch. Participants will gain insight into perennial garden planning, increase their knowledge about healthy pollinator habitat, and deploy their new knowledge as habitat heroes for pollinators.
