A short seminar exploring the Tibetan Buddhist philosophical concept of impermanence
Three 2 hour discussions and teachings on the Tibetan Buddhist philosophical concept of Impermanence and its relevance to modern life. The teachers are Professor David Gardiner from Colorado College, the Venerable Tenzin Dasel an American Nun ordained by the Dalai Lama in 2017, and Geshe Wangden Tashi a Tibetan Buddhist monk and founder of the Tibetan Meditation Center in Colorado Springs.
The seminars will feature lectures, discussions, question and answer session, a mindfulness meditation, and a Tibetan tea and lunch on Sunday. Impermanence is a useful concept for dealing with the stresses of modern life. Impermanence is not a religious tenet but a useful tool that can be combined with meditation to reduce stress. These talks do not require any familiarity with Buddhism or any other philosophical schools.
