'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'

'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'

Presented by STARZ Theater Company at Ent Center for the Arts

The Biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes alive in the musical retelling composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Told entirely through song, the story follows Joseph, the 11th and favorite son of Jacob, who is blessed with vivid dreams that foretell the future. A truly timeless Old Testament tale, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is set to a multitude of musical genres, from a parody of French ballads (“Those Canaan Days”), to country-western (“One More Angel in Heaven”) and calypso (“Benjamin Calypso”), along with the unforgettable classics “Go Go Go Joseph”, “Any Dream Will Do” and “Close Every Door.” Appropriate and entertaining for all audiences and groups, Joseph is performed hundreds of times a year by schools across North America, the U.K. and around the world.
