20+ artists from the Pikes Peak region will show vivid artworks to celebrate 30 years of the Carnivale parade and event of Manitou Springs.
The annual Carnivale parade and related events held in Manitou Springs began 30 years ago as the brainchild of several Commonwheel Artists Co-op members.
To celebrate 30 years of Carnivale, Commonwheel Artists Coop is hosting a juried open call art show in our Creekside Gallery. 20+ artists from the Pikes Peak region have submitted an amazing array of artwork that commemorates all the fun of this annual parade of characters and costumes. You can expect to treat your eyes to numerous artworks in brilliant colors including watercolors, pastel, acrylic, feathered masks, ceramic wall art, photographs, stained glass, and enameled jewelry.
Commonwheel will be hosting an artist reception on February 3, 5pm-8pm. There will be food and refreshments. And you can meet the artists who have provided so many great artworks to give us all a feast for the eyes.
