First Friday at the Aud

First Friday at the Aud

Presented by Community Cultural Collective at Colorado Springs City Auditorium

The Multae Manus Collective’s mission is to gather resources, gain knowledge, and absorb creativity that nourishes the artist within for creating better, more important artwork in every genre. We come together for inspiration, insight, conversation, focus, sharing, learning, teaching, critique, trusting, education, good practices, elevating, supporting, exercises, community, and the business of art. It takes many hands to make a collective, to support one another, and to learn and grow together.

We keep each other encouraged and accountable in our studio practices. This is our first group exhibition, and we are very excited to show you what we have accomplished! 5 Artists will show new works and each body of work is remarkably unique!

Ann Bryant is a self-taught artist that takes inspiration from the many colors andtextures of nature. Bobby Hughes says, “I want you to “feel” my paintings, as in touch them!” Karen Mosbacher is an expressionist painter, known for painting classical and jazz music. Cass Mullane’s mixed media series reflects moments of joy and wonder that the spring brings in the mountains. Emily Solomon says, “I’m starting to push myself to share my emotional journey, and a greater understanding of trauma.”

You don’t want to miss this enticing exhibition with such a broad range of works! If you are interested in being a part of the Collective come to the exhibit and talk with us!

This event is free to the public. Donations to the City Auditorium project are welcomed.
