Brad Easton is an extraordinary jazz player. The uncompromising finesse he displays on the saxophone is equaled by his robust tone and the versatility of the jazz lines he reaches into his soul to communicate.

Brad has worked with Frankie Lane, Cab Calloway, Rosemary Clooney, Frank Gorshin, The Temptations, Nat Adderley and Dizzy Gillespie. Brad is heavily influenced by John Coltrane, Stan Getz, The Brecker Brothers and Zoot from The Muppet Show.  Brad is retired Professor of Saxophone and Jazz Studies at Colorado State University-Pueblo. He was on the faculty since 2004. He previously was a member of the USAF Academy Band Falconaires and Blue Steel for 20 years.

Brad is joined by mulit-instrumentalist John Wise (vocals, bass, guitar). John hails from Kansas, where at age 15 he had the good fortune of being a member of Local 627 (the Black Musician’s Union). Since moving to Colorado Springs in 1990, John has led several popular bands including “Gordon, Stone and Wise”, “Blues Alert”, Johnny and the Jukes”, and his current successful group “Tribe”. John has worked in most of the top venues and with most of the best musicians in the Pikes Peak region.
