Bella Art and Frame presents "Nature and Wildlife" Photography by Tom Ulmer

I was born and raised on a farm in North Central Ohio. My love of flying took me to the Air Force Academy in Colorado and then on to a 22 year Air Force career.  I was blessed to be able to travel to 55 countries on six continents while in the Air Force, but the assignment that really sparked my photography was being stationed in Alaska from 2001 to 2004.

The epic wildlife there and outdoor opportunities coincided with digital photography replacing film, and after rapid improvements in my photography skills, I started Rock36 Photography in 2003.  Since then my work has been displayed in various settings including the Photographer's Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City and in the North American Nature Photography Association's "Expressions" publication.
