Storm, scorch, freeze, flood, explode, electrify, decimate….nature provides stability and cadence to our lives, but has equal power to disrupt and destroy.
Our emotions are pushed and pulled in its wake: foreboding, hubris, fear, anguish, then shelter and hope renewed.
This call for entries invited artists to render a natural disaster, communicating physical immensity and depth of feeling.
Representational and abstract interpretations were considered, as well as 2d and 3d mediums.
Remember that Immensity can be conveyed at any size.
