Join Palmer Land Conservancy for a Colorado Springs Screening of “MIRASOL, Looking at the Sun”. A film directed by Ben Knight, presented and produced by Palmer Land Conservancy.
In this poignant new film, award-winning filmmaker Ben Knight challenges us to think about land and water use in the West through an intimate portrait of a rural farming community in Pueblo, Colorado, as they fight to protect their water and land, and in turn, their culture and livelihood.
The evening will begin with a social hour featuring craft cocktails and mocktails at the SCP Hotel Bar and opportunities to learn more about Palmer's important land and conservation work to protect farmland in southeast Colorado.
The reception will be followed by the main program showcasing a screening of the film, followed by a Q&A and panel discussion with the film's producers.
