21st Annual North Cheyenne Cañon Hummingbird Festival

Presented by Friends of Cheyenne Cañon and City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services at Starsmore Discovery Center

Plan now to attend the 21st Annual North Cheyenne Cañon Hummingbird Festival on May 10, 2014 from 10 to 4. The colorful spring festival welcomes the return of the broadtail hummingbirds to their summer nesting sites in North Cheyenne Cañon and throughout the Pikes Peak Region.

The event will include something for the entire family. There are crafts for children, magicians, arts and crafts vendors, Pueblo Raptor birds of prey on display, and Augustina, a mustang rescued from the wild. Watch a glass blower craft flowers and birds, visit nature oriented educational booths, a silent auction, and great food and beverages. Also live bands will be playing throughout the event! Free parking and bus shuttle is available from Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School at 1200 W. Cheyenne Road.
