Curious Palate Wine Tasting Class: Tempranillo

at Soiree

At first taste, a Spanish Tempranillo offers nuances like leather and cherries. The finish is mild, smooth and lingers with tannin. And you might think, “Ah, this is a Tempranillo!” And then you taste another Tempranillo and here you might find notes of cherry and tomato-sauce with a bold tannic kick. Finally, exploring terms like “Vin Joven”, “Crianza”, “Reserva” and “Gran Reserva” can also open new doors to this delightful varietal. Come explore!
