CANCELED: 2020 Artini

CANCELED: 2020 Artini

Presented by Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region at The Mining Exchange Hotel

The 2020 Artini has been canceled. Arts Month will continue this year, likely with modifications. Please keep an eye out for updated information regarding Arts Month on PeakRadar.com as well as our social media channels.

The Artini is the official kickoff to our community’s annual Arts Month campaign. Please “save the date” for the 2020 Artini, which will be held on Thursday, October 1st from 5:30-8:30PM at The Mining Exchange Hotel (and the adjacent Gold Room) in downtown Colorado Springs. Hosted each year by the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, the Artini is a FREE, community celebration with live entertainment on multiple stages, lots of mixing & mingling, and the opportunity to sample signature martinis created by some of the area’s top mixologists.
Art + Martini = Artini!

Last year, the 2019 Artini featured musical headliner BJ Estares & Route 61, along with a variety of other live performances, a DJ with dancing, a fashion show, aerialists, body painting, food trucks, a Photo Booth station, hands-on art activities, and more! Throughout the evening, local mixologists from the 365 Grand Club properties created their signature martini drinks, and competed to earn the title of “Best Artini Martini 2019.” Free tastings were available, and voting by Artini attendees determined this year’s winner. Multiple cash bars were also open throughout the hotel, and food was available for purchase from the hotel and/or from a group of food trucks parked along Nevada Avenue. Click here for photos from the 2019 Artini.

The 2019 Artini would not have been possible without the generous support of The Mining Exchange Hotel, the City of Colorado Springs Lodgers and Auto Rental Tax (LART), HEX Audio Visual, Wells Fargo, the Tiemens Foundation, and the Colorado Springs Independent.

The Artini is hosted each year by the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is “connecting residents and visitors with arts & culture to enrich the Pikes Peak region.” Each October, the Cultural Office presents Arts Month as a way to elevate the visibility and value of arts & culture in our community. The official call to action during Arts Month is to have at least one new cultural experience with family or friends during the month of October.
