Bass Pro Shop: Garden of the Gods

This mural depicting scenes from the Garden of the Gods is over 200′ long and 12′ to 20′ high. It was created in 2013 by John Wiley and a crew of painters contracted by the Bass Pro Shop to provide realistic backgrounds for a series of nature dioramas that decorate the upper walls of their retail space near Northgate boulevard in Colorado Springs. These murals depict familiar scenes of our region to give the customer a sense of traveling through Colorado’s landscape as the murals transport the viewer through a series of panoramic vistas.
