This faux brick wall was painted over rough cement by Douglas Rouse in 2015. After sandblasting off the exterior paint of his building, the owner realized that there were really two different exteriors next to each other; one with a brick and one with a cement. In order to better blend adjacent buildings aesthetically it was decided to paint a brick facing on the 418 W. Colorado building rather than construct a whole new exterior.
