Graffiti Warehouse: East Wall

The east wall of the “Graffiti Warehouse” at 224 W Colorado is managed by local artist Fuse with the permission of the building owner and was painted in 2013.

This wall is used by novice graffiti artists. The term graffiti is used for the highly stylized lettering of an artist’s street name, called a tag, typically painted using aerosol spray paint. Graffiti art is the term used when pictorial representation is added to the work.

See the photos below for details of portions of the wall including: “Let your soul shine” (which is technically “street art” rather than “graffiti art” since it was created with paint and brushes and not aerosol) and tags for Asteand and Gnom, both local graffiti artists.
