Harvest Goddess

This mural titled “Harvest Goddess” was painted by Molly McClure. The purpose of the Harvest Goddess was to draw attention to the “food desert” in the Nob Hill area.

The wall funded by a grant to the Knob Hill Urban Arts District (a non-profit corporation) from the Colorado Department of Health and Environment in partnership with Colorado Springs Food Rescue. This is a portrait of the artist’s good friend Tanisha Lanae. The corn and grapes are symbolic of Farming in Colorado.

This mural is the left side of the “Entrance Mural” to the knob Hill Urban Arts District and will remain on this wall until at least 2025.
