Hopes and Dreams of Woodland Park

This mural covers most of the east side of the Pikes Peak Polaris RV store. It was painted in 2010 by Woodland Park High School and Elementary School Students. The Elementary students made the tiles around the outside of the mural. The tiles on the tree and the mural painting was done by high school students. Stacia Ray, art teacher at Woodland Park High School, organized the students to create this mural. The mural was done to create a literal sense of connection between the students and the Woodland Park community. Sophia Hernandez Craig, Max Suchet, and Taylor Smith, Woodland Park High School students at the time, were instrumental in the organization and completion of the mural.
