The Bench Mural

This piece was painted on the bench restaurant in June 2019 and it was painted by Gnomer Darren Waltman of Sign Gnome.

The design and color scheme was created by imagining that the designers from Ocean Pacific found out how cool Colorado was and began making designs for souvenir t-shirts. We wanted to celebrate Colorado Springs close proximity to the mountains and easy access to outdoor sports.

Yes, that is Pikes Peak and this one is the largest solo mural that Gnomer has painted. The wall is a fantastic brick canvas so we decided to highlight that by leaving the mortar lines the same color as the background paint everywhere but on the Colorado C.
