Sculpture is created out of multiple pieces of corroded steel; the welds are crude; the figure is of a farmer; wide-brimmed hat on head; glasses resting on the end of his nose; long, thin pipe extending from the mouth; he is wearing overalls with a short-sleeved button-down shirt underneath; both arms extended slightly away from the body; he holds a garden hoe between two hands; the handle is extended dow to the ground; the PR hand rests slightly abov ethe PL hand on the neck of the hoe.
