This bronze sculpture, titled The Catbird Seat (also a novel by James Thurbur), was created for the 2002 Art on the Streets exhibit in Colorado Springs and was later purchased by Community Ventures for donation to the city. It is a small-scale figure of a mountain lion perched on a rock formation, the lion’s head turned toward its left shoulder.
