All our instructors are highly trained and we strive to continuously update levels of knowledge to keep us current and creatively challenged. To this end, we offer many affordable group classes geared toward fun and rewarding ways to stay fit. Our goal is to support independent artisans and to provide a casual environment to browse and buy original artwork & custom framing. You can count on innovative design, affordable prices, and outstanding customer service. 45° opened in January of 2010. We began as a custom frame shop within an established gallery, The Squash Blossom. With this relationship we were able to build a clientele base & prepare for expansion. The business has grown considerably over the past 3 years. We have established a reputation for eco friendly options, expert design, flawless craftsmanship, and free delivery. We expanded to 2528 B W Colorado Ave. This is a 1200 sqft retail space in the heart of the Old Colorado City neighborhood of Colorado Springs. We have over 20 years of combined experience within the industry. As business owners we have held every position within a gallery setting. With this experience we will be able to provide a collection of work that is consistent with current décor trends, economic conditions, and primary demographic in Colorado Springs. We each bring our own expertise to 45°. Emily’s strength lies in art gallery management while Reed’s expertise is in management of custom picture framing. 45° hours of operation are Monday – Saturday 10am-6pm. Sunday 11-4. Acacia Park, Colorado Springs’ first park, was donated by General William Jackson Palmer, the city’s founder, in 1871. It includes a band shell, picnicking, playground, public telephone, shuffleboard building, shuffleboard courts, and sidewalks. T he Uncle Wilber Fountain in Acacia Park provides a great place for kids of all ages to cool off in the summer. Acacia’s Shuffleboard Facility runs annually from the beginning of June to mid August. Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Its serene location along a newly developed park emulates Taylor’s commitment towards community partnerships. We serve approximately 250 students. Our fabulous staff is committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure our students achieve success. We strive for academic excellence for all children while simultaneously focusing on the development of the whole child. We work to ensure a healthy balance between academic content, character development and developing 21st century learners who can think deeply and learn collaboratively. Colorado Springs was founded in August 1871 by General William Jackson Palmer and his idea of a first class hotel came to life; the Antlers Hotel opened in June of 1883. At that time the population of Colorado Springs was approximately 5,000 people. General Palmer named the hotel “The Antlers” as it housed his large collection of deer and elk trophies which was the envy of many. The original hotel had modern conveniences such as a hydraulic elevator, central steam heat and gas lights. In addition it had a billiards room, music room, barber shop, Turkish Bath and children’s playroom. The hotel had 75 large guest rooms, some with balconies, and no two rooms were alike. The hotel welcomed many travelers from around the world and in fact was nicknamed “Little London” because of the many English tourists who came to visit. The draw at the time was nearby Pikes Peak and the amazing natural rock formations known as Garden of the Gods. Although being very successful, disaster struck when on October 1, 1898, the hotel burned to the ground. The hotel was evacuated in time, with no injuries reported from the guests and staff; however the hotel could not be saved. After being rebuilt in 1901, it remained in operation until 1964, with the last guest checking out on September 20th. The hotel was then torn down and re-built, eventually re-opening on March 20, 1967, still in its original location in the center of downtown Colorado Springs. In 1975, the Broadmoor Management Company took over the operation of the Antlers. For several years, a large double-decker London-styled bus shuttled guests between the Antlers and the Broadmoor; the route being named the “A to B”. Today The Antlers Hotel Colorado Springs hosts convention, business and leisure travelers from around the world who are able to take advantage of the 27,500 square feet of meeting space, multiple restaurants, a 24 hour state of the art health club & museums all within walking distance.

Arati Artists Gallery displays original artwork from 21 local artists. Our artists create wonderful pieces in: watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic, mixed media, bronze and steel sculpture, pottery, sterling silver and beaded jewelry, glass and wood turning. The gallery has existed in the same location since 1977. We are open seven days a week and our award winning artists staff the gallery and enjoy meeting customers and patrons to help them find the perfect piece for a gift or for themselves.

Arnold Hall Theater at U.S. Air Force Academy

Situated in the heart of the U.S. Air Force Academy, the Arnold Hall Theater provides a beautiful view of the plush greenery surrounding it. Over the years, the theater has enthralled and entertained audiences with the likes of Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, the Broadway musical adventure Peter Pan, a variety of circuses, special events and concerts. It has historically played host to some of the best plays and concerts in the world, and continues to be one of the most beautiful and functional performing arts venues in the Pikes Peak region.
