Brandy Carsten

Brandy Carsten currently lives in Colorado Springs and has lived in Colorado since 1986 with a brief two years in Washington. Her art work is highly influenced by nature and she draws inspiration from the colorful world she is surrounded by here in Colorado Springs. Brandy has found myriad outlets for her artwork from performing arts publicity, graphic art for package design to hand made dolls and figures made in the Waldorf/ Steiner tradition. She enjoys painting in watercolors and acrylics along with pen and ink for illustration. Currently Brandy Carsten is creating with natural fibers in the way of hand spinning, dry and welt felting, along with embroidery.
