Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts

The Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts offers a variety of programs in the visual and performing arts. Art exhibits are for established, emerging and student artists at the local, regional and national levels. Performing artist events include concerts, lectures and readings designed to bring in both new and familiar artists who stimulate new interests and ideas. Educational programs are offered for adults and children with a range of abilities and include everything from sculpting and painting to pottery and photography.

    Photoshop Workshop with Michael Pach Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts Photoshop Workshop with Michael Pach Presented by Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts at Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts May 9-June 6, 2012 This 5-week course begins with learning the basics of these programs from opening, saving and organizing files to utilizing the menus and customizing the workspace. Students will learn how to use a wide variety of editing tools, correct exposures, create black-and-white and colorized photos, remove unwanted objects, work with layers, perform actions, merge photos into panoramas, and prepare files for print. Students will need a laptop with Photoshop CS3 or Photoshop Elements 8 or higher. Use...

This exhibit will run from June 5-30. At the Opening Reception there will be live music, light hors d'oeuvres, cash bar and fresh, new art to observe! This opening reception coincides with the Monument/Palmer Lake Art Walk, so the TLCA will also have their Resident Artists in their studios for demonstrations.
