Cosmos Serenade

Trained as an aerospace engineer, Colorado artist Evette Goldstein brings a sense of precision, rooted in math and geometry, to her abstract works.

A large-scale butterfly, Cosmos Serenade rests at the top of amphitheater seating outside the downtown Pikes Peak Center. Goldstein created the piece as part of the Butterflies & Friends event, an annual Rotary auction supporting the Club’s Community Service Fund as well as art programs at various Colorado Springs District 11 elementary schools.

Purchased by the Downtown Rotary Club, the work was donated to the City of Colorado Springs in 2009.
