Amigurumi Stuffed Animal; Cube Bunny

The instructor for this class is Jessica Casey.

Amigurumi is the technique to crochet or knit 3D stuffed animals. In this class you will learn to make a cute little cube bunny in a large cuddly yarn. Perfect Easter gift for any stuffed animal lover in your life.

The bunny is roughly 10 inches tall and 6 and a half inches wide. Sample bunnies are made with a Bernat blanket and a baby blanket.

Skills you will learn:

• Crocheting in the round
• Increase and decrease stitches
• Basic assembly

Skills needed:

• Base chain stitch
• Single crochet
• Half double crochet
• Double crochet
• How to tie off

The materials fee covers printed pattern, tip sheet, safety eyes, and nose.

Student supply list:

• Yarn of choice in Size 6 Super Bulky aprox 220 yards: Suggested is Bernat Blanket or Baby Blanket in 10.5oz skeins
• Crochet Hook: Size L/11-8.0mm or M/13-9.0mm
• Jumbo Locking Stitch Markers
• Yarn needles: Suggested is metal ones, bent tip is also useful
• Row Counter: I use Susan Bates Digital row counter for finger available locally at Joann Fabrics
• Stuffing: PolyFill or similar
