Outdoor Machine Demonstration Day

If you have not been to the Mining Museum in a while–this is the day to go!  We bring in a team to operate the authentic Osgood Steam Shovel (like the beloved children’s book,  “Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel”).

Feel the heat of the Blacksmith Shop as they work on actual projects.  Plus experience the power of the Yellow Jacket II Stamp Mill. This 5 story machine crushes rock in search of gold. PLUS, take a hayride to see the historic Reynolds Ranch home, 100 year old Apple Orchard and the Adit featured in Rick Riordin’s Percy Jackson Books.

Outside activities are free.  Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it! Inside tours are available at regular admission rates.
