Just Roll With It…
In this introductory sushi class, Chef Cupples will teach you the history of sushi, definition of “sushi,” what short grain rice is and why it’s different and important for rolling.
You’ll also learn about the cultural importance of sushi and training for apprenticeships, and the differences of “American Sushi.” Learn about the tools that you’ll need to make sushi at home and the ingredients (vegetables, fish, rice seasoning, nori sheets, garnishes, why freshness matters).
